Problem: Vehicle description: motorcycles. the spring in the cam chain tension adjuster can break allowing the cam chain to jump to the wrong position on the cam shaft sprockets. if the chain jumps to the wrong position, severe engine damage could occur causing sudden engine failure.

Risk: Sudden engine failure could cause the rear wheel to lockup, disturbing the rider's ability to control the motorcycle.

Fix: Dealers will replace the original cam chain tension adjuster with a revised cam chain tension adjuster.
