Details
What's wrong: An improper service procedure that may be used during routine maintenance can damage a pressurized fuel hose. Lifting the front of the fuel tank beyond a certain point can stress and damage the hose. The internally damaged hose could eventually crack, resulting in a high-pressure fuel leak.
Why it matters: Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire.
The fix: Dealers will replace the fuel hose with a longer fuel hose.
