Details

What's wrong: On certain motorcycles, the connector plug supplying power to the headlamp might not be fully installed on the prongs of the bulb.

Why it matters: This could cause the plug to become dislodged from the headlamp, resulting in a loss of forward lighting, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix: Dealers will ensure the connector is properly seated on the bulb prongs. If any components are damaged, the dealer will replace them. Owner notification began on April 14, 2003.
