What's wrong: Certain motor homes fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard no. 110, "tire selection and rims." The federal identification tag is incorrect. The tag states the rim size is 22.5x6.75g range. The correct rim size is 22.5x7.5f range.
Why it matters: An incorrect rim could be placed on the vehicle which could result in a tire blowout increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the tag. Owner notification began March 11, 2004.
