Details
What's wrong: On certain motorcycles, the fuel pump and ignition relays installed during production could be defective. This can cause the instrument panel to stop functioning and the engine to stop.
Why it matters: If the engine stopped while the motorcycle was being driven, it could increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the fuel pump and igntion relays. The recall is expected to begin during October 2006.
