What's wrong: On certain motorcycles, the horizontal and vertical cylinders mobile timing belt tensioner is dimensionally incorrect.
Why it matters: The mobile tensioner can come into contact with the timing belt cover which could cause the timing belt to fail and consequently stop the engine increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the existing mobile timing belt tensioner using updated components. The recallbegan on April 4, 2007.
