Details

What's wrong: Certain travel trailers fail to comply with the requirements of part 567, "certification," and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard no. 110, "tire selection and rims." The information provided on the certification and tire information labels denoting the tire pressure is incorrect.

Why it matters: Should the tires be inflated to the incorrect pressure, it is possible that the tires could be overloaded and fail, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix: Dealers will install the correct certification and tire information labels and set the tire pressure to the required 65 psi free of charge. The recall began on May 21, 2007.
