Details
What's wrong: There may be an improper electrical connection at the buss bar on the affected transfer switches.
Why it matters: This improper connection may lead to overheating and melting of the transfer switch and may result in a fire.
The fix: Entegra will notify owners and dealers will replace the transfer switch free of charge. The safety recall began on September 24, 2010.
