NHTSA recall 11V105000
Visibility · Monaco RV, LLC
Details
What's wrong: The porous metal castings may cause cracking of the wiper arm at the mounting to the pivot shaft. Material cracking at the pivot shaft could result in the wiper arm being disabled without warning which could lead to reduced driver visibility.
Why it matters: Decreased drivers visibility may increase the risk of a crash possibly resulting in property damage, personal injury, or death.
The fix: Dealers will replace the drivers and passengers side wiper arms free of charge. The safety recall began on March 11, 2011.
