NHTSA recall 11V130000
Equipment · Jayco, Inc.
Details
What's wrong: Due to a typographical error, the size of the tire as indicated on the federal id label is incorrectly identified. These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard no. 120, "tire selection and rims for motor vehicles other than passenger cars."
Why it matters: A misprinted label could lead to selection of an improperly sized replacement tire.
The fix: Owners will be provided with corrected labels free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin during March 2011.
