NHTSA recall 12V053000
Fuel System, Other · Ducati North America
Details
What's wrong: The fuel lines contain micro-cracking due to insufficient drying of raw materials prior to extrusion.
Why it matters: This could cause a fuel leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, may lead to a fire and increased risk of property damage or personal injury.
The fix: Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel lines free of charge. The safety recall began on March 1, 2012.
