Details
What's wrong: Due to loose bolts the side stand interlock switch may fail.
Why it matters: On the gsx-r1000 models, failure of the switch will terminate the ignition circuit. As a result, the engine will stop running, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Suzuki will notify owners, and Suzuki dealers will replace the side stand interlock switch bolts, free of charge. The safety recall began on June 7, 2012.
