Details

What's wrong: These vehicles may have been manufactured without an exterior vent for the furnace.

Why it matters: Without proper exhaust ventilation, the vehicle can fill with carbon monoxide resulting in asphyxiation. The heat build-up may also increase the risk of a fire.

The fix: Dutchmen will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, install an exterior vent, free of charge. The recall began on November 15, 2012.
