Details

What's wrong: Due to improper adhesion, the brake shoe linings may separate from the front and rear brake shoes.

Why it matters: If the brake shoe linings separate, the brake performance could be reduced, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix: Yamaha will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front and rear brake shoes, free of charge. The recall began on October 4, 2013.
