Details
What's wrong: The power steering hose clamp may disconnect from the power steering pump or gear, causing a loss of power steering fluid.
Why it matters: A loss of power steering fluid could result in a loss of power steering assist and power brake assist, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Gm will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the vehicles to make sure the power steering hose clamps are properly secured, free of charge. The recall began on August 29, 2014.
