NHTSA recall 14V437000
Tires · Koenigsegg Automotive AB
Details
What's wrong: The affected vehicle may experience the TPMS system not illuminating the TPMS malfunction indicator light when the vehicle is restarted. Thus, this vehicle fails to comply to the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard no. 138, "tire pressure monitoring systems."
Why it matters: If the TPMS doesn't illuminate properly when the vehicle is restarted it could cause the driver not to know there is a problem with the tire, increasing the risk of vehicle crash.
The fix: Koenigsegg has notified the owner, and a dealer has installed a new software version, free of charge. The recall began on July 9, 2014.
