Details

What's wrong: Affects vehicles equipped with the extreme package option, manufactured April 16, 2014, to April 21, 2014. The information on the federal id label incorrectly indicates an 80psi cold tire inflation pressure instead of the correct pressure of 50psi. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard no. 120, "tire selection and rims and motor home/recreation vehicle trailer load…

Why it matters: If the user inflates the tire to the incorrect psi noted on the label, a tire blowout could occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix: Starcraft will notify owners, and dealers will remove the incorrect labels and replace them with a new label with the correct information, free of charge. The recall began in late August 2014.
