NHTSA recall 15V091000
Fuel System, Gasoline · Jaguar Cars, Ltd.
Details
What's wrong: The electronic modules which control the fuel pump may shut down causing the fuel pump to stop pumping fuel.
Why it matters: The fuel pump shutdown will result in the vehicle stalling. The vehicle would also lose power-assisted braking and power-assisted steering. Any of these conditions may increase the risk of a vehicle crash.
The fix: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect, and install if necessary, an additional wiring harness to the in-tank fuel pump, free of charge. The recall began March 23, 2015.
