NHTSA recall 15V487000
Power Train · Forest River, Inc.
Details
What's wrong: The cambers in the axle tubes may have been installed upside down. This can cause the tube to appear bent downward towards the ground, when the bend should be pointing upwards to the unit floor.
Why it matters: A mispositioned camber may come in contact with a tire, a spindle or other components leading to fracture or failure, and increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Forest river will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and reposition any mispositioned cambers, free of charge. The recall began on August 21, 2015.
