NHTSA recall 16V055000
Tires, Wheels · Newmar Corporation
Details
What's wrong: The affected vehicles may have a front rim maximum pounds per square inch (psi) rating of 120psi which is lower than the michelin tires maximum inflation rating of 130 psi.
Why it matters: If the tires are inflated to their maximum pressure, the rims may suddenly fail due to being over pressurized, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Newmar will notify owners, and at the owner's choice dealers will either install a new federal tag label with the correct psi rating or install 130 psi rated front rims. The recall began on March 22, 2016.
