What's wrong: Affects vehicles equipped with 2.0L gtdi engines. The retaining bolt for the front end auxiliary drive (fead) idler pulley on the engine may fail resulting in a loss of power steering assist.

Why it matters: A loss of power steering assist may increase the risk of a crash.

The fix: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fead pulley assembly, free of charge. Owners were sent interim notifications on May 28, 2016. This recall began July 1, 2016.
