NHTSA recall 16V176000
Structure · Forest River, Inc.
Details
What's wrong: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2015-2017 Georgetown recreational vehicles, model gta369xlf, manufactured from December 8, 2014, through March 22, 2016. A vented window was installed in the rear wall of the vehicle instead of a secondary egress window.
Why it matters: Without a secondary egress window, occupants may be trapped in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury or death.
The fix: Forest river will notify owners, and dealers will remove the vented window and install an egress window, free of charge. The recall began on May 10, 2016.
