What's wrong: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2016 Octane Super Lite travel trailers manufactured November 2, 2015, to April 4, 2016. These trailers may have been built without a 30amp circuit breaker which, in the event of an electrical short, may result in a fire.
Why it matters: An electrical short on an unprotected circuit increases the risk of a fire.
The fix: Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will install a 30 amp circuit breaker, free of charge. The recall began on May 6, 2016.
