What's wrong: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2016 Jay Flight SLX recreational trailers manufactured March 3, 2016, to April 20, 2016. The bolts that secure the propane tank to the trailer's a-frame may be missing lock washers, allowing the propane tank to loosen and detach from the vehicle.
Why it matters: If the propane tank detaches from the trailer, there is an increased risk of a crash.
The fix: Jayco has notified owners, and dealers will install the lock washers to the two bolts that secure the propane tank to the a-frame, free of charge. The recall began on May 17, 2016.
