NHTSA recall 16V322000
Tires · Keystone RV Company
Details
What's wrong: The trailers may have been manufactured with st215/75r14 load range c tires rated for 1870lbs, when they should have been manufactured with st215/75r14 load range d tires rated for 2200lbs.
Why it matters: Vehicle owners may inadvertently overload the tires which may result in tire failure, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Keystone has notified owners, and dealers will replace the tires with ones of the proper load rating, free of charge. The recall began on May 25, 2016.
