NHTSA recall 16V719000
Equipment · Winnebago of Indiana, LLC
Details
What's wrong: The weight label on the affected vehicles incorrectly states the fresh water capacity in gallons when it should be stated in pounds.
Why it matters: The incorrect information may cause the trailer to be overloaded, possibly resulting in a loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will replace the incorrect weight labels with corrected labels, free of charge. The recall began on January 19, 2017.
