NHTSA recall 16V756000
Forward Collision Avoidance · Newmar Corporation
Details
What's wrong: The affected vehicles are equipped with wabco onguard collision mitigation radar which may have been mounted upside down on the front lower bumper, resulting in decreased performance.
Why it matters: If the collision mitigation radar has reduced performance, there may be an increased risk of a crash.
The fix: Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will check the orientation of the onguard radar and, if necessary, correct the orientation, free of charge. The recall began on December 14, 2016.
