What's wrong:
Why it matters: Since the rim is not marked with the rim size and the dot designation, a tire of the incorrect size may be installed on this rim, affecting the handling of the scoter and increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Bmw will notify owners, and dealers will replace any rims that are not correctly marked, free of charge. Interim notices informing owners of the safety risk were mailed September 26, 2017. Owners will receive a second notice when the remedy becomes available.
