Details

What's wrong: The affected vehicles have entry doors that have latch rods that may be improperly adjusted, allowing the door to open while moving. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 206, "door locks and door retention components."

Why it matters: If the door opens while moving, it can increase the risk of injury or a crash.

The fix: Winnebago has notified owners, and dealers will readjust the door latch rod, free of charge. The recall began on October 26, 2018.
