What's wrong: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019 Forest River primetime Impression fifth wheels, model mpf3000rls-49. The side marker lights are not located in the correct spot, reducing visibility of the vehicle to other drivers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Why it matters: Reduced visibility of the fifth wheel can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: Forest river will notify owners, and dealers will remedy the vehicles, free of charge. The recall began November 1, 2018.
