Details

What's wrong: Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2019 Airstream Interstate 19 motorhomes. 150 amp fuses may have been used for the coach battery fuses instead of 100 amp fuses, potentially allowing the battery cables to be overloaded.

Why it matters: Overloaded battery cables may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

The fix: Airstream will notify owners, and dealers will remove the 150 amp fuses and install 100 amp fuses, free of charges. The recall began January 8, 2019.
