What's wrong: A spring in the keyless vehicle latching system (kv latch) may get stuck, causing the left hand door to remain unlatched when the door is closed.
Why it matters: The unlatched door may open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.
The fix: Land rover will notify owners, and dealers will update the software, and inspect the kv latches, replacing them if necessary, free of charge. The recall began December 6, 2019.
