Details

What's wrong: These vehicles were previously recalled and repaired under recall 19V-390, however the repair may not have been completed properly. A spring in the keyless vehicle latching system (kv latch) may get stuck, causing the left hand door to remain unlatched when the door is closed.

Why it matters: An unlatched door may open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

The fix: Land rover will notify owners, and dealers will update the software, and inspect the kv latches, replacing them if necessary, free of charge. This recall is expected to begin July 24, 2020.
