NHTSA recall 20V451000
Equipment · Triumph Motorcycles America, Ltd.
Details
What's wrong: The rear reflex reflectors may detach. As such, these motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Why it matters: Detachment of the rear reflector may reduce the visibility of the motorcycle to other drivers, increasing risk of crash.
The fix: Triumph will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear reflex reflectors, free of charge. The recall began August 19, 2020.
