Details
What's wrong: The generator rotor (flywheel) may break, damaging the generator cover and causing oil leakage from the engine.
Why it matters: Leaking oil may drip into the path of the rear tire, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: All affected vehicles are still in dealer inventory. Dealers will inspect the production dates on the generator rotors (flywheels) and replace them, as necessary. The recall began August 12, 2020.
