Details

What's wrong: The wiring harness may have been misrouted, allowing it to contact the lower lug on main frame headstock.

Why it matters: Contact between the harness and the headstock lug can damage the wire and cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix: Triumph will notify owners, and dealers will apply a new VIN label protector to prevent wiring harness damage, and, as necessary, damaged wiring harnesses will be repaired or replaced, free of charge. The recall began August 28, 2020.
