What's wrong: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2014-2016 vengenance bvgf312a, bckt24pack14, bvgf312a, bvgf315a11, bvgf316a, bvgf316a11, bvgf320a, bwzvgf312a, bwzvgf316a and bwzvgf320a trailers. The federal placard may indicate an incorrect amount of water for trailers with the 100-gallon option, allowing the trailer to be overloaded. Why it matters: An overloaded trailer has an increased risk of a crash.
The fix: Forest river will notify owners, and dealers will install a new placard that reflects the 100-gallon tank, free of charge. The recall began October 13, 2020.
