Details
What's wrong: The power supply for the automatic transmission control unit might be interrupted while driving, possibly causing the transmission to shift into neutral.
Why it matters: If the transmission shifts into neutral while driving, there would be loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Mbusa will notify owners, and dealers will replace the transmission control unit, free of charge. The recall began March 18, 2021.
