NHTSA recall 21V361000
Exterior Lighting · Ducati North America
Details
What's wrong: The front and rear turn signal lights may not flash brightly enough. As such, these motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Why it matters: Turn signal lights that aren't bright enough can reduce other driver's ability to see that the turn signals have been activated, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the front and rear turn signals, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 28, 2021.
