Details
What's wrong: The front passenger air bag inflator and cushion may be improperly attached inside the air bag module, which could result in the air bag cushion tearing upon deployment.
Why it matters: An air bag that does not deploy properly during a crash can increase the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will replace the front passenger air bag module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 16, 2021.
