Details

What's wrong: A software issue may cause a loss of power steering assist at startup or while driving.

Why it matters: Increased steering effort, particularly at lower speeds, increases the risk of a crash.

The fix: The power steering module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (ota) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 13, 2021.
