NHTSA recall 21V768000
Tires · Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
Details
What's wrong: Affects vehicles equipped with bridgestone tires. The affected vehicles may have a tire that contains a pinhole, causing a slow air leak. As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 139, "new pneumatic radial tires for light vehicles."
Why it matters: A slow air leak can affect tire performance, and increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect all four tires and replace the tire if a pinhole is found, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 24, 2021.
