Details
What's wrong: Affects vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. An ignition timing software error for the engine control unit (ECU) may reduce engine performance, which can result in an engine stall.
Why it matters: An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will update the ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 28, 2022.
