What's wrong: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022 Coachmen Apex travel trailers. The tail lights may have been incorrectly wired to an "on/off" switch, which can cause the brake or tail lights to not illuminate when the switch is in the "off" position.
Why it matters: Brake or tail lights that fail to illuminate can reduce visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will rewire the tail lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 9, 2022.
