What's wrong: The vehicles were manufactured without an audio amplifier module (aam), and therefore will not provide audio safety features, such as seat belt reminders, turn signal sounds, and advanced driver assistance system (adas) warnings.
Why it matters: Missing audio safety features, such as seat belt reminders, turn signal sounds, and advanced driver assistance system (adas) warnings, can increase the risk of a crash or injury.
The fix: Dealers will install the missing aam, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 27, 2022.
