NHTSA recall 22V653000
Seats · Roadtrek Inc.
Details
What's wrong: Roadtrek Inc. (Roadtrek) is recalling certain 2022 Zion, Zion SRT, Chase and Zion Slumber motorhomes. The front seat mounting bolts may be improperly tightened. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the federal motor vehicle safety standards (fmvss) no. 207, "seating systems."
Why it matters: A seat with a loose mounting bolt may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will inspect the bolts, and tighten if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 7, 2022.
