What's wrong: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022 East To West Entrada 24fm Class C motorhomes. The certification label incorrectly states there are 6 belted seating positions, when there are only 4 belted seating positions. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 120, "wheels and rims-other than passenger cars."
Why it matters: Incorrect belted seating position information may result in unbelted passengers, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the federal certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 20, 2023.
