Details
What's wrong: Kia america, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2022 Sorento plug-in hybrid (phev) vehicles. The fuel tank may have been improperly molded, which can result in a fuel leak.
Why it matters: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
The fix: Deales will inspect and replace the fuel tank, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 22, 2023.
