Details
What's wrong: The electric park brake (epb) caliper washers may prematurely wear, decreasing the clamping performance of the epb.
Why it matters: A parking brake with weakened clamping performance can fail and allow the vehicle to rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the epb, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 15, 2023.
