Details
What's wrong: The federal certification label incorrectly states the tire size and inflation pressure requirement. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "tire selection and rims."
Why it matters: Incorrect tire size and inflation requirements may cause premature tread wear or a tire blow out, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will install a new corrected label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 24, 2023.
